The self-guided time in the library was my favourite part — no rushing, no crowds blocking the view of the bookshelves. Bring cash for the gift shop afterwards, some of the smaller items aren't on card-only tills.
Good value for the price, though the self-guided portion at the castle means you're relying on the printed sheet rather than a live guide once inside. The Bampton walking section made up for it — our guide pointed out the actual filming locations house by house.
