Highclere Castle Gallery
Every photograph here is of the castle, its park or its gardens. Worth knowing before you pack a camera: photography is not permitted inside the castle or the Egyptian Exhibition, so the interiors you see online are almost always official images.

Where these were taken
The south front and the tower are what most people picture, and they are what you see on the walk up from the car park. The architecture of that facade is Sir Charles Barry's 1842 work, and the parkland behind it was laid out seventy years earlier. The Secret Garden and the walled gardens open only when the castle itself is open, which is why every departure listed on Highclere Castle Tours is timed around a public opening or a guided tour.
To see the rooms you cannot photograph, read the room-by-room guide, then check opening dates and access before you compare Highclere Castle tickets and guided days.
